Zoomarine Algarve theme park opened on August 3rd, 1991 and it is located in Guia, Albufeira in the heart of main tourist region in Portugal.
Thus the dream of its founder and president is achieved, to provide “Unique sensations on a journey through a world of knowledge and adventure where adults and children discover the mysteries of marine life in a day full of surprises and emotions.”

Since the beginning, Zoomarine Algarve has developed a worthy and recognized work in the active conservation of species. In 2002 it opened Zoomarine’s Safe Haven (Porto D’Abrigo do Zoomarine) – the first Rehabilitation Center of Marine Species in Portugal, that is today, the epitome example of its mission.
